I’m David Aferiat — an entrepreneurial and growth leader with 25+ years of building high-performing teams, sales engines, and peer CEO networks. I’ve worn the founder hat, the operator hat, and now the coach hat.
Today I work with CEOs and leadership teams who’ve outgrown the way they operate. My job is to help teams see clearly, say what needs to be said, and make the decisions that move the business forward. Not motivation. Operation.
The operator
I co-founded and helped scale Trade Ideas LLC — a fintech SaaS company — to six consecutive years on the Inc. 5000. I didn’t read about scaling; I lived through every plateau, every leadership-team rebuild, every quarter where the strategy was fine and the execution wasn’t.
That experience is the difference. Most coaches haven’t carried a number. I have.
The framework
I’m a Certified Bloom Growth Coach. I install the Bloom Growth Operating System™ — eight elements (Growth Plan, People, Sales & Marketing, Meetings, Finance & Data, Technology, Process, Relationships) — paired with a Hero’s Journey arc that keeps the leader moving.

The network
I work in and through the Bloom Growth Coaches community, the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), the French-American Chamber of Commerce Atlanta-Southeast, and Fractional United. I contributed to the book Flourish, speak on operationalizing strategy, and sit on the panels where this work gets argued out loud.
